ISLAMABAD: The decision to reopen or close educational institutions across the country from September 15 will be taken today. In this regard, a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers has been convened under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood.

The meeting will be attended by all the provincial education ministers while health ministry officials will give a briefing on Corona. SOP's in educational institutions will be finalized at the meeting. Short academic syllabus and examinations in 2021 are on the agenda.

The issue of uniform curriculum will also be considered in the meeting of inter-provincial education ministers, after which recommendations for resumption of activities in educational institutions will be sent to the National Coordinating Committee.
