Another incident on the motorway.

Another incident took place on the motorway and armed robbers looted vehicles near Sheikhupura.

According to reports, the robbers stopped the vehicles by throwing trees on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway, shot and burst the tires of several vehicles.

The armed robbery took place on the motorway towards Islamabad, 3 km away from Sheikhupura Interchange. The robbers looted several vehicles and easily escaped.

The passengers informed the motorway police but got no response. After reporting on One-Five, the police reached the spot.

It may be recalled that two days ago, armed men smashed the windows of a car near Gujjarpura on the motorway and forcibly took the woman away and then raped her in front of the children.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar have taken notice of the incident and demanded a report from the authorities.
