ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani nation is celebrating the 74th Independence Day with enthusiasm today. Fireworks and firing started in different cities at 12 o'clock last night. Youths started holding rallies and throwing bhangras. The spring of the green crescent flag is visible, buildings, streets and houses are decorated with electric light bulbs, flags and banners. Children and adults all look painted in the same color.
According to media reports, as soon as the Independence Day celebrations began, a large number of youths took to the streets across the country, chanting slogans of "Long live Pakistan" and dancing on the streets. A large number of people were present with their families. Manchals danced to the beat of drums and threw bhangras.
Fireworks were set off at various places in Karachi and national anthems were played. Events were held in the city, the youths turned to the sea view while stopping at various places and started dancing. A spectacular fireworks display was held at North Nazimabad Five Star Chowrangi. Federal Minister Ali Zaidi and leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement were also present on the occasion. The fireworks were organized by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. Thousands of people were present at the five star intersection.
