Anyone objecting to Asim Bajwa's money trail should apply for JIT: Shehzad Akbar.



Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shehzad Akbar said that anyone who has any objection to the money trail of Special Assistant for Information Asim Bajwa should apply for setting up a JIT.


Advisor to the Prime Minister Shehzad Akbar attended the Data Darbar and laid a wreath. Talking to media on the occasion, Shehzad Akbar said that the issue of rape of a woman in Lahore is a test case for the government.

He said that Lahore police was working in the right direction in the case of rape of a woman and the highways of Punjab would be safe for all.

Referring to the opposition, the Adviser for Accountability said that the opposition has nothing but allegations, Al-Sharif fled by lying, Rana Sanaullah should answer the NAB's questions.

Referring to the opposition APC, Shehzad Akbar said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was working as a rent-a-crowd for the APC.

Referring to Special Assistant for Accountability General (retd) Asim Bajwa, Shehzad Akbar said that anyone objecting to Asim Bajwa's money trail should apply for setting up of JIT.

Asked about the CCPO Lahore, the Adviser for Accountability said that a former PML-N minister had praised Omar Sheikh and demanded that he be appointed CCPO.

On the occasion, Lahore CCPO Omar Sheikh said that four teams were seeking help from detectives, DNA, geo-fencing and CCTV cameras in the case.
