Motorway abuse case: Woman identifies accused Abid and Shafqat.

LAHORE: Information Minister Fayyaz Chauhan has said that the victim of the motorway abuse case has identified both the accused Abid and Shafqat.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Fayyaz Chauhan said that he informed the Prime Minister about the news of harassment of a girl on which the Prime Minister ordered immediate arrest of the accused. The girl's family registered a cyber crime case against the accused. The video of the girl being harassed went viral on social media 3 days ago. The boy who harassed the girl was arrested from Rawalpindi while her father has also been arrested.

Fayyaz Chauhan said that protection of the people is the top priority of our government, if anyone is harassing a child, girl or woman, contact immediately, if someone blackmailed the woman and children, the law will come into force.

The provincial information minister said that the woman victim of the motorway abuse case has identified both the accused Abid and Shafqat. With the arrest of Waqar Al-Hassan, it was possible to reach the accused Shafqat and Waqar Al-Hassan was handed over to the police by the locals. All told who are the accused.

He further said that CCPO Lahore apologized to the nation for his speech, Shahbaz Sharif made an irresponsible speech in Parliament on which he had to apologize to the nation.
