OGDCL convoy attacked, 7 FC personnel and 7 security guards martyred
7 FC personnel and 7 security guards were martyred in a terrorist attack on the convoy of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
According to ISPR, the OGDCL convoy was on its way to Karachi from Gwadar under the protection of security forces.
Seven Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan personnel and seven security guards were martyred in a clash between security forces and terrorists near Ormara on the Coastal Highway.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces responded to the terrorist attack on the convoy in a timely and comprehensive manner.
According to ISPR, 7 FC and 7 security guards of FC Balochistan were also martyred during the clash.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army, the terrorists suffered heavy losses during the clash and the security forces took effective action to evacuate the convoy of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) from the area.
According to ISPR, the cowardly operation of the enemy to harm peace and development in Balochistan will not be allowed to succeed. Security forces have cordoned off the area and search for terrorists is on.
The martyrs include Lions Naik Iftikhar Ahmad, Cop Muhammad Waris, Cop Imran Khan, Cop Muhammad Naveed, Lance Naik Abdul Latif, Subedar Abid Hussain, Naik Muhammad Anwar.
According to ISPR, the martyrs include retired Hawaldar Samand Khan, Muhammad Fawadullah, Ataullah, Waris Khan, Abdul Nafee, Shakirullah and Abid Hussain.
According to ISPR, such cowardly acts further heighten the resolve of the security forces, who are determined to defend the motherland by sacrificing their lives.
