Babar Awan, Advisor to PM Imran Khan on Parliamentary Affairs, said that the opposition party PML-N was demanding the Third National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
Speaking on Geo News program 'Jirga', Babar Awan said that the first NRO of PML-N happened with Musharraf, the second one just happened, while the third NRO states that a law 38 Remove 34 bullets from.
According to Babar Awan, the removal of 34 out of 38 sections means that the locks of the jails should be unlocked, but the bulls should not have climbed.
He said that if the Prime Minister does not have the authority then why send petitions in writing? If you don't have the authority, don't send petitions, then why talk to the government?
The parliamentary affairs adviser said that the law was first and foremost interested in bringing back Nawaz Sharif.
It is to be noted that there is a deadlock between the government and the opposition on the amendment of NAB rules and the government says that the opposition wants to get NRO by approving its proposals for the amendments.
In this regard, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, chairman of the parliamentary committee on legislative affairs, has said that the opposition's amendments are not acceptable to the PTI, while Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shehzad Akbar said that the opposition's 35 amendments to the NAB law. The points are so impractical that they can't even be discussed.
